Since it's early inception around 1890, the sport of auto racing has been a large part of American auto endurance. From the early Indy 500 through drag racing, cross country racing, road rallies and findly NASCAR, many cars and many drivers have come and gone. But most people haven't seen the early cars and haven't met the early drivers.
